This page describes how the VerCab website behaves today. It is accurate to the current build but has not yet been reviewed or issued as a formal policy.

Scope: this public website. Corporate and driver applications require their own product-specific privacy and permission disclosures; this notice is not a substitute for those disclosures.

Cookies

The website’s own preference code uses browser local storage, not cookies. Storage used by any enabled third-party security or hosting services must be checked for the deployed environment before this notice is issued as a formal cookie policy.

What is stored in your browser

Two preference values are written to your browser’s local storage so the site retains your appearance and language choices. The preference code does not send these values to VerCab. You can remove them through your browser settings.

  • vercab-theme — whether you chose the light or dark appearance. Kept until you clear it.
  • vercab-locale — the language you selected. Kept until you clear it.

If this changes

If VerCab later adds analytics, a consent management tool, or any service that sets cookies, this page will list each one — its name, purpose and duration — and a consent mechanism will be added before it is enabled.

Managing browser storage

Clearing site data for this domain removes the saved preferences. The site continues to work; it simply forgets your appearance and language choices.
