On this page

This page describes how the VerCab website behaves today. It is accurate to the current build but has not yet been reviewed or issued as a formal policy.

Scope: this public website. Corporate and driver applications require their own product-specific privacy and permission disclosures; this notice is not a substitute for those disclosures.

01

Information you give us

VerCab collects information only where you enter it. There is no account, no tracking profile and no advertising identifier.

  • Enquiry forms: your name, email address, and optionally a company name, phone number and the message you write.
  • Concierge: the text of the messages you send, and the conversation so far, so a follow-up question makes sense in context.
  • Feedback: whether you marked a concierge reply helpful, together with the question and the reply it applied to.
02

Information collected automatically

The concierge endpoint uses an IP-keyed, in-memory request counter for rate limiting. The rate-limit window is one minute; entries are cleaned up opportunistically rather than on a guaranteed one-minute deletion schedule. Hosting and security services may also process connection information; their configuration and retention require confirmation before publication.

03

How it is used

Enquiry details are used to answer your question, discuss your organisation’s requirements and arrange a product demonstration or other requested follow-up. Concierge messages are used to produce a reply. Feedback is used to improve the concierge’s answers.

Your information is not sold, rented, or used for advertising.

04

Third-party services

Pending confirmation

Where a hosted language-model provider is configured for the concierge, your message and conversation history may be sent to that provider to compose a reply. Personal information typed into the conversation can therefore be included. Do not submit passwords, identity documents or confidential operational records through the concierge.

Enquiry submissions may be forwarded to the business system VerCab uses to manage them.

Concierge feedback can include the related question and answer in server logs and, when configured, a feedback service. An enabled anti-abuse service may also process verification and connection information. The deployed providers and their retention arrangements must be confirmed in the final notice.

05

Retention

Pending confirmation

How long enquiry records are kept depends on the system they are delivered into. That retention period is being confirmed and will be stated here.

06

Security

Pending confirmation

The production website must use HTTPS and appropriately restricted access to enquiry records. The product’s encryption and access-control descriptions do not replace the privacy disclosures for this website or for the corporate and driver applications.

07

Your rights

Pending confirmation

You can ask what information VerCab holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to the address on the contact page and say what you would like done.

The specific statutory rights that apply will depend on where VerCab is established and where you are travelling from. That will be stated here once confirmed.
